Terms of Use

By accessing or using Virtual MD ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

Virtual MD is a prototype that demonstrates technology described in US Patent 10,410,308. On synthetic patient records it shows:

• Rule-based classifications, each with the guideline section it comes from
• A trace of which rules were checked and which applied
• A side-by-side comparison with a general AI model's narrative

Every guideline citation in the prototype is pending clinical review. Output is for evaluation and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

Virtual MD is meant for licensed clinicians and other people evaluating the technology. You must be at least 18 years old. By using the Application, you confirm you are at least 18 and will use it only to evaluate it.

The Medicare Blue Button and CareFirst connections point to test (sandbox) environments with synthetic records. Do not connect a real account, and do not enter real patient information anywhere in the Application.

The Application's classifications and summaries come from rules applied to synthetic records. They are for evaluation only. They are not a medical opinion about any real person.

Virtual MD and its underlying fuzzy logic inference engine are protected under US Patent US10410308B2, granted September 10, 2019. The Application, its code, algorithms, and design are the proprietary property of FuzzMed, Inc. ISD Logic LLC designs and develops the Application for FuzzMed, Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Application without express written permission from FuzzMed, Inc.

You may use Virtual MD only to evaluate the prototype. You agree not to:

• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Application
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Application
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to backend systems
• Use the Application in the care of any real patient
• Enter or connect real patient information

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FuzzMed, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Virtual MD, including health outcomes resulting from reliance on Application output. The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia.
