By accessing or using Virtual MD ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application. These terms apply to all users, including users who connect their health insurance data via the CareFirst FHIR Patient Access API.

Virtual MD is a patient-facing clinical decision support application developed under US Patent US10410308B2 (System, Method, and Device for Personal Medical Care, Intelligent Analysis, and Diagnosis). The Application uses a fuzzy logic inference engine to analyze personal health data and generate:

• Cardiac risk scores based on patient vitals
• Clinical guideline compliance checks (ACC/AHA standards)
• Medication interaction alerts (FDA drug interaction data)
• Laboratory test completeness assessments

All analysis output is informational only and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Virtual MD. By using the Application, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Virtual MD may request access to your personal health data through the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield FHIR Patient Access API. By authorizing this connection, you consent to Virtual MD retrieving your health information solely for the purpose of providing clinical decision support analysis. You may revoke this authorization at any time through the CareFirst member portal.

The information provided by the Application is for general informational and educational purposes only. Risk scores, alerts, and recommendations generated by the Application are based on algorithmic analysis and may not reflect your complete medical picture. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider regarding any medical condition or before making any health-related decisions.

Virtual MD and its underlying fuzzy logic inference engine are protected under US Patent US10410308B2, granted September 10, 2019. The Application, its code, algorithms, and design are the proprietary property of ISD Logic LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Application without express written permission from ISD Logic LLC.

You may use Virtual MD solely for personal, non-commercial health information purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Application
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Application
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to backend systems
• Use the Application to make clinical decisions without professional oversight

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ISD Logic LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Virtual MD, including health outcomes resulting from reliance on Application output. The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia.
